Hinterland Door County Cherry Wheat

Hinterland beers are from the Green Bay Brewing Company of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The beer is 5.4% ABV and is brewed using cherries. 

The beer pours a hazy dark amber in color with a hint of pinkish-red tinge. There is a large, thick and foamy and very long lasting head, off-white in color that leaves rings of thick lacing on the glass. The aroma is toasted and nutty wheat, tart cherry, fruity yeast. The taste is rich, toasted wheat, sweet and tart cherries, with an astringent woodiness. The aftertaste is full of cherries, fruit, skin and woody pit. There is a full and tingling carbonation. This is excellent, if you like cherry beers or wheat beers with fruit, do not miss this one!
