This 6.75% ABV beer pours a dark copper, burnt orange in color, with a short head of off-white, thick and creamy foam. The aroma is very malty, caramel, malted grain, sweet potatoes, with some herbal notes. The taste follows the aroma directly, very malty, some roasted and toasted notes, with just enough hops to edge off the sweetness and end with a touch of bitterness. The mouthfeel is carbonated, yet creamy. If you like malt bombs, this is a good drinking one, and very satisfying.
