Brasserie Dupont Moinette Blonde

The Brasserie Dupont is in Tourpes, Belgium.

This blonde ale is unfiltered, bottle-conditioned and 8.5% ABV. The beer pours somewhat hazy, and a deep dark yellow golden in color. There is a tall half-inch of very foamy white head. The aroma is earthy, grassy, woody, herbal, golden grain and light yeast. The taste follows the aromas, adds a bit of straw, and ends with a bitter finish. This is a nice Belgian blonde ale, but it does not blow me away like their Avril or their Saison.
