This 6.4% ABV beer pours a slightly hazy golden orange in color. There is nearly an inch of thick, creamy, foamy head that is off-white to very light brown in color. The aroma is hop forward, of cantaloupe, apricot jam and orange marmalade. While this is described as a pale ale, its aroma is as intense as most IPA's and even many DIPA's and its alcohol is in the IPA range. The taste is big, rich jammy fruits. There is over-ripe melon, a slight citrus tartness, and it is perfectly bitter. This beer drinks "light" for its big flavor. This is the most flavorful pale ale I have ever had, really delicious.
