This 5.0% ABV beer pours a dark copper-amber-orange in color. There is a whirlwind of carbonation in the glasss and a very large, foamy, thick head that is off-white in color. The aroma is fruity, apricots, lemon, almost vinous, and some yeast. The taste follows the aromas, but also has a rich caramel malt. The finish is more tart and tangy than bitter, slightly dry, but with the underlying sweet malt apparent. An interesting beer.
