Bitter Root Brewing Pale Ale

Bitter Root Brewing is in Hamilton, Montana, located in the Bitterroot Valley.

This beer pours a very dark copper-amber-orange-brown with almost a hint of ruby.  There is a tall half inch of creamy and thick off-white head that leaves layers of sticky lacing down the glass.  The aroma is lightly fruity, malty, like strong tea with fresh squeezed lemon.  The taste follows the aroma with a pleasingly bitter finish and floral notes on the back end.  This is simple in the best way, subtle, yet very flavorful, an absolutley delicious American take on an English-style pale ale.
