Carlsberg

Carlsberg originated in Copenhagen, Denmark in 1847.  It is now centered out of Frederica, Denmark and is one of the world's largest brewers, the Carlsberg Group

This 5.0% ABV lager pours a bright and pure golden yellow color with a whirlwind of carbonation. There is an inch of pure white head that leaves layers of thick lacing down the glass.  The aroma is malty, toasted grain, straw, bread, with a dry lager "funk."  The taste is grain, straw, lager funk, crusty bread, dry with a very slight bitterness, and a smooth and creamy mouthfeel.  The body is very light, well-carbonated. The only negative is a light metallic note on the finish.  Overall, this is a solid European lager.
