This 8.0% ABV beer pours a bright orange/copper/amber in color with a large, thick, billowing head of creamy foam that is just off-white and leaves sticky lacing of medium thickness. The aroma is fruity, citrusy and creamy, a bit like an orange dreamsicle. The taste is like an initial bite of dark pumpernikel bread followed by a fruity and creamy orange dreamsicle that finishes sweet, bitter and dry all at the same time. This is a very interesting and unique beer. By its date marking, my bottle is not exactly fresh, I can only imagine how great this would be really fresh.
