Wolters Premium Pilsener; Fest-Bier

Brewed and bottled by the Hofbrauhaus Wolters in Braunschweig, Germany.  I wonder if that is also the home of braunschweiger, which would go quite well with this beer and some crackers or bread?

Premium Pilsener - This 4.9% ABV beer pours a dark honey golden in color with a half inch of white head that dissipates fairly quickly and massive carbonation.  The aroma is an old wooden grain bin filled with freshly harvested dry corn, grain, straw, a lager funk nearing fresh manure, and a slight hint of tall grass.  The taste follows the aroma with the grain paramount, followed by the lager funk and a very bitter hop finish.  This is a very flavorful pilsener.

Fest-Bier - Wolter's Oktoberfest beer, this pours an amber-copper-golden in color with a slight white head.  The beer lives medium lacing down the glass.  The aroma is straw, grain, and a touch of barnyard.  The taste follows the aroma, but is even more intense, with a slightly bitter finish.  A very tasty German beer.
