Napa Smith Brewery - Organic IPA; Pale Ale

The Napa Smith Brewery is in Napa, California.

Organic IPA -  This 7.1% ABV beer pours light brown with an organish tint, slightyly cloudy, with two fingers of an off-white sea-type foam.  The aroma is yeasty, sourdough bread and banana.  The taste is extremely yeasty, lots of banana.  It tastes like circus peanuts candy with a bitter finish.  Not to my liking.

Pale Ale - This 5.2% ABV beer pours dark golden in color with an orange-copper glow and a slight head that does leave some light lacing down the glass.  The aroma is dark fruit, plums and cherries, some biscuity maltiness and a little yeast.  The taste is nutty maltiness with a bitter dry finish.  There is just a hint of yeast in the taste.  This is a nice nutty English-style pale ale.  Despite the small head the beer is very effervescent and stings the tongue.
