Kalnapilis Grand

The Kalnapilis brewery is in Lithuania and has been producing beer since 1902.

This 5.3% ABV beer pours light honey-golden and straw colored with a generous white foamy head that leaves light lacing.  The aroma is clean and fresh, a metal bucket of freshly harvested dry grain, aromatic and nearly floral hops, and a slight lager "funk."  The taste follows the aroma quite closely, there is a touch of sweetness, but it is well balanced.  This is a very refreshing and enjoyable lager.
