Uerige Doppelsticke

From Dusseldorf, Germany.

This 8.5% ABV beer pours dark brown and cloudy.  The aroma is of raisins and old, woody sherry.  The taste follows the aroma.  Some people love beers like this, you know who you are.  Unfortunately, they are not to my taste.  I much prefer Uerige Alt.
