Svyturys Baltijos Dark Red

This beer is from the Svyturys-Utenos Alus Brewery in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

This 5.8% ABV beer pours a dark amber, copper, brown, and orange and slightly cloudy.  The aroma is predominantly malty, with caramel, pipe tobacco, dark cherry, and a bit of a zesty hop note.  The taste is somewhat sweet and follows the aroma to a certain extent.  The flavor has less of the tobacco note and more of a caramel pastry bready sweetness.
