SingleSpeed Arctic Fox

This 6.0% ABV Norwegian Pale Ale is from SingleSpeed Brewing of Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa. It is Effort 002 in their Nimble Series of experimental one-offs.

The beer pours a lightly hazed dark yellow golden in color. There is a white foaming head. The aroma is fruity, melons and blueberry, with an interesting fruity tart note. The taste follows the aromas, fruity, melons, a touch tart, with some pine needles. Some tropical notes come in later. The bitterness is mild, especially for the style. The beer drinks easy, with a fine, yet crisp carbonation.
