Left Hand Death Before Disco Porter

The Left Hand Brewing Company is in Longmont, Colorado by the St.Vrain River. This is a 6.0% ABV porter now available in cans.

The beer pours black, with a short head of tan foam. The aroma is dark roasted malt, char, dark chocolate, light coffee, and dark fruits. The taste follows the aromas, lots of nice dark roasted malt notes, all mingling with the pleasant char. The finish is dry and lightly to moderately bitter. The beer drinks very smooth, almost airy, but with enough body to hold up all of its flavors. This is a winner.
