Pearl Street Brewery D.T.B. Brown Ale

The Pearl Street Brewery is in La Crosse, Wisconsin. This is their 4.6% ABV brown ale. 

The beer pours a medium dark brown, dark amber in color. There is a short head of light tan foam. The aroma is malty, toasted, nutty and caramel. The taste follows the aromas, roasted and toasted, nutty and caramel. There is sweetness, but the finish is just on the dry side. The bitterness is low, and the beer drinks easy, with moderate carbonation and a medium body. This is solid, and tasting good.
