Lagunitas The Down Low Ale

This 3.9% ABV session copper ale  is from the Lagunitas Brewing Company of Petaluma, California (and now with a brewery in Chicago, Illinois). 

The beer pours an apricot and burnt orange in color. There is a very tall, foaming, billowing head of off-white. The aroma is of oranges, citrus, a bit of guava or passion fruit. The taste follows the aromas, much orange, some overripe tropical, and an earthy, spicy, almost tobacco leaf like note. The beer drinks very light, with a light to moderate bitterness, and a dry finish.
