Deschutes Pacific Wonderland Lager

The Deschutes Brewery is in Bend, Oregon. This is their new 5.5% ABV lager.

The beer pours a clear, pure golden in color. There is an inch of white, foamy head. The aroma is clean, grain, toasted, touch of sweet, touch of grass. The taste follows the aromas, hitting the same notes, clean, grain, grass, with a fairly bitter and dry finish. The beer drinks with a refreshing, stinging carbonation. This is a nice quaffable lager.
