The beer pours black. There is a short head of creamy tan head. The aroma is full of fresh roasted coffee, over dark roasted malts with pleasant char and chocolate. The taste follows the aromas directly, a wonderful blend of coffee, chocolate, and char. The beer drinks very smooth, with a soft, tingling carbonation. The finish is dry with a light coffee bitterness. This is a very good coffee stout.
