Bent Paddle Paddle Break Blonde

This 6.0% ABV Belgian-style Blonde Ale is from the Bent Paddle Brewing Company of Duluth, Minnesota. The can compares the balance of citrus and yeast in the beer to balancing a canoe on your shoulders, and suggests any one of Minnesota's 5,000 campsites as a good place to drink this beer.

The beer pours golden in color. There is over an inch of white, tight, foamy head. The aroma is honey, flowers, grain, with light yeast esters. The taste follows the aromas, sweetness, bread dough, flowers, and the light yeast notes, herbs and banana. The beer drinks crisp and refreshing with tingling carbonation. The finish is dry with a light to moderately bitter, grassy, finish. This is enjoyable and a nice summer beer.
