Shiner Kolsch

This 4.9% ABV beer is based on the Kolsch style of beer that originated in Cologne, Germany. It is from the Spoetzel Brewery in Shiner, Texas, maker of Shiner beers, and is number 5 in their Brewer's Pride series of limited edition beers.

The beer pours a clear, pure golden in color. There is an inch of snow white head. The aroma is clean, light floral and fruit, airy, mild and slightly sweet golden grain. The taste follows the aromas adding some additional malty sweetness, but ending dry with some grassiness. It drinks easy, light, crisp and refreshing.
