Stone Go To IPA

Go To is a 4.5% ABV session IPA from the Stone Brewing Company of Escondido, San Diego County, California. It uses a brewing technique called "hop bursting" where a large amount of hops are added during the final phase of the brewing process to bring out extra hop flavor and aroma.

The beer pours a dark golden in color. There is a relatively short head of pure white foam. The aroma is full of fruity hops, tropical fruit, mango, passion fruit, citrus, over light crackery malt. The taste follows the aromas directly. The finish is clean, dry and as bitter for a session IPA as I have tasted. It drinks crisp and refreshing, nicely carbonated. Verdict? Go to it.

Good in 2016 in a can too.
