Tuned American Brown Ale - Lift Bridge Brewery

Tuned is an effort to pair beers from the Minneapolis/Saint Paul Twin Cities area with bands from the same area.  If you buy the beer, you get a code on the cap that allows for a free song download. There is also then a concert at the brewery. This release's song is Desert Rose by Reckless Ones. This release is brewed by the Lift Bridge Brewery of Stillwater, Minnesota. This is a 6.5% ABV hopped up American brown ale.

The beer pours a very dark brown with garnet and ruby when held to the light. There is a tall head of thick, foamy, somewhat creamy light tan head. The aroma is malty, sweet, creamy, caramel, brown sugar, with a jasmine tea note. The taste is sweet, rich, roasted malt, paired with orange and jasmine. It is medium to full bodied, but easy drinking, creamy and smooth, with a moderately bitter finish. Sweet, but never overly sweet, with a clean and dry finish. This is a unique and very tasty American brown ale.
