Tallgrass Brewing Wild Plum Farmhouse Ale

This 5.6% ABV release from Tallgrass Brewing of Manhattan, Kansas is made with plums. 

The beer pours a dark, yet clear and glistening, golden in color. There is a very tall, bubbling, foaming, white head. The aroma is yeasty, fruity esters, tart, as much yeast notes as plum. The taste is rich golden grain, yeasty, fruity esters, tart, but not as much as the aroma, the plum fruit is mild. This is a solid farmhouse style ale, yeasty, with the plum adding both sweetness and tartness, but not a lot of plum flavor. It is fully carbonated, as if bottle-conditioned, with a dry finish.
