Worthington's White Shield India Pale Ale

This 5.6% ABV English India Pale Ale is from Burton-Upon-Trent in the United Kingdom. Originating in 1744,Worthington's is now owned and brewed by Molson Coors. This is considered a real ale by CAMRA, and it is bottle conditioned.

The beer pours copper colored with over an inch of thick and foamy head, off-white in color. The aroma is mild, grassy and floral over toasted malt. The taste is toasted malt, light caramel, very light plum-like fruit, with a grassy bitterness and dryness on the finish. This is quite dry. There is just the slightest bit of grapefruit zest on the finish. It is finely carbonated.
