Lucette Ride Again Pale Ale

The Lucette Brewing Company is from Menominie, Wisconsin. Apparently, Lucette was Paul Bunyan's sweetheart (never knew that). This is a 5.2% ABV pale ale.

The beer pours copper and amber in color with just a touch of haze. There is nearly an inch of thick, foamy, off-white head. The aroma is hop forward, dank, floral, touch of pine, orange, some citrus, and biscuity and light caramel maltiness. The taste follows the aromas directly, and it ends with a pronounced bitterness. It is very smooth with a soft carbonation. This is a really excellent American style pale ale, and worth seeking out.
