James Page Voyageur Extra Pale Ale

The James Page Brewing Company originated in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1986, but the brand is now owned and brewed by Stevens Point Brewery in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The beer pours a very light amber in color. There is a short head of white foam. The aroma is mildly fruity and tangy. The taste is moderate malt, with just a touch of caramel, with a citrus finish; some roasted and toasted malt with lemon and orange, and a bit of tea with the lemon. It is medium-bodied and moderately carbonated, appropriate to the style. The finish is moderately bitter. Decent, quite drinkable, but not likely to win any awards.
