Slavutich

Slavutich is a lager from the Slavutich Brewery of the Ukraine. The beer pours a clear yellow and golden in color. There is a tall head of thick white foam that leaves occasional rings of sticky lacing on the glass. The aroma is full of lager funk, straw, old barn, grain, and grassy hops. The taste follows the aromas directly, ending with a dry, grassy bitterness. This is a top-notch example of a European lager, excellent.
