Yuengling Oktoberfest

This is the Oktoberfest offering from Yuengling, which if I recall correctly is the oldest family owned brewery in the United States. This seasonal offering was first released last year. The beer pours a deep copper, dark amber in color. There is a half-inch of thick, somewhat creamy, off-white head. The aroma is malty and tangy, toasted and lightly nutty. The taste is malty, roasted, toasted, a bit nutty, a light tang, and a moderate bitterness on the finish. A very drinkable Oktoberfest offering.
