Wasatch Little Slammers

Little Slammers is a 5.2% ABV golden ale in a 7 ounce bottle (there is also a lager). It is from Wasatch Beers, established in Park City, Utah in 1986.  Wasatch is part of the Utah Brewers Cooperative. I always love a little pony bottle, and the name is great in relation to its size.

The beer pours honey golden in color with a nice white foamy head. The aroma is slightly sweet, honey, malty, bread dough, with a floral note and a light tart note. The taste follows the aromas quite directly. This has some nice qualities, but its overall effect is average.
