Third Street Brewhouse Bitter Neighbor Black IPA

Third Street Brewhouse is the new craft beer offshoot of the Cold Spring Brewery of Cold Spring, Minnesota.

This 6.5% ABV beer pours a densely dark brown, essentially black in color. There is a tall head of thick and creamy foam that is light brown. The aroma is dark roasted malt, with some coffee and mocha and a hop tang on the end. The taste is very dark roasted malt, lots of coffee, some dark chocolate, with a bitter and tangy finish. More black than IPA compared to many black IPA's, but it drinks like a nice dry stout with a tangy finish, it is flavorful.
