Brau Brothers Hopsession

Hopsession is a "Super Pale Ale" from Brau Brothers Brewing Company of Lucan, Minnesota.  It takes its name in part from its very sessionable 4.2% ABV.

The beer pours a dark golden, light bronze in color.  Mine poured with a massive head of bubbling, foamy white.  The aroma is fruity, tangy, citrusy, tangerine, and a touch of yeastiness.  The taste is mild malt, strong tea with lemon, and citrusy tangerine, although much lighter in flavor than in the aroma.  The finish is very dry and quite bitter.  The mouthfeel is light and smooth with a bit of creaminess from the head.  It's Minnesota Nice in a bottle.
