Pretty Things Hedgrow Bitter

The Pretty Things Beer and Ale Project is in Westport, Massachusetts.

This English-style special bitter is 5.4% ABV and pours an orange-amber-copper in color, with a half-inch of creamy and foamy head that is off-white in color.  A curtain of lacing is left down the glass as the beer is consumed.  The aroma is lightly fruity, plum jam, a touch of apricot, light toast, a bit of tea and the slightest touch of tobacco.  The taste is toasted French bread, with light fruit jam, a spot of tea, and a very bitter and dry finish.  (Made with all English hedge or hedgerow hops, responsible for the very bitter and dry finish).
