Stack High Gravity Malt Liquor

Stack is from United Brands, the people who brought you Joose (the high alcohol, high caffeine fruit flavored mess that got banned).  It is brewed in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, probably by City Brewing.  This monster comes in at a whopping 12% ABV.    Well, here goes nothing...

This beer pours a neon glowing orange-copper-dark golden.  There is an extremely rapidly dissipating small head.  The aroma is massive alcohol for a beer, sweet, fruity, a touch of caramel, a hint of whiskey, like a cocktail.  The taste is massively sweet, almost more sweet potato than fruit, alcohol readily apparent, but not as intense as in the aroma.  It is easier to drink than I thought it would be, but it is cloyingly sweet, and this is definitely a whopper to be feared.
