Boxer Light

Boxer beers come from the Minhas Brewery in Monroe, Wisconsin.

I picked this up in Omaha, Nebraska.  As far as I know, it only comes in 36 packs of cans.  It was $16.99 for 36.  This 4.2% ABV beer pours a very yellow golden in color with a small white head.  The aroma is like apples and cream of wheat.  The taste is a bit fruit sweet and a bit fruit tart, very, very light grain with an extremely light bitter note on the end.  The regular is better tasting than the light.

  2. Slightly confused as to the origin of the beer, Is it made in Canada or USA? Or made in USA for Canadian consumption but now available in Wisconsin/Minnesota and beyond? We like the taste and their price.

    1. I read it started out in ontario and then with a bit if capital grew 1000%in a few years. Thats when they bought the brewery in wisconin. Now its made here for sure but probably there too in smaller quantities.

  3. Very light, nothing special flavor. I paid $13.99 + Mn. tax so total of $15.34 for a 36 pack. I have seen reviews that it was over carbonated, I thought the opposite, nearly flat. Not bad for the price.
