Josephs Brau Brewing Co. Winterfest Dark Double Bock Lager

Josephs Brau Brewing Company is out of San Jose, California and this beer weighs in at 7.5% ABV.  The beer pours a very dark brown, just translucent, with a hint of amber.  The aroma is sweet caramel malt, dried fruit and fruitcake.  It is quite sweet in taste, with caramel, fruit and just a whisper of dark roasted malt in the background.  I am more of a hophead, so the sweetness of this beer is not very appealing to me, but at least it is not cloying, as many high alcohol beers of this type can be.

I picked this up at Trader Joe's in West Des Moines, I am not sure if the brand is exclusively available there or not.
