Olde Johnnie Ale

From Cold Spring Brewing Co. in Cold Spring, MN. I found this in bottles.  I did not know they made this in bottles, I had it in cans before, a couple years ago, and really liked it, but not quite as much now. Pours a dark golden brown. Smell is caramel with a touch of vinegar. Malts predominate. Slight hint of bitter and sour. This is a bit like a Scottish 80 shilling, but not quite as well put together. A combination of American pale ale and a red ale.
